Good Bye ( ver.1)

>> Tuesday, December 18, 2007

"Good Bye." Said Julie.

"We have lived together for the past twenty years and do you think that it is necessary to part now?" asked Jack, her husband.

"It's inevitable." Julie said. "How true is the saying, familiarity breeds contempt. I desperately need change, Jack."

"I respect your feelings. But still I don't know how I'm going to live without you as I am so much used to your presence." said Jack.

"Try, Jack, and you can lead your life without me. Soon you'll even forget me." Julie said.

"It's impossible to forget you."

"Nothing is impossible, Jack."

"Things are easier said than done."

"Try, Jack."

"O.k, I'll try. I have left with other option, do I ?"

"I'm sorry to say, No."

"May I know where you are going to?"

"California. How about you ?"

"No idea. One thing is sure that it will be quite far from where you are going."

"All the best, Jack."

"Same to you, Julie.Well, maybe we are not destined to meet again so can I have..."

"Yes, Jack?""....one last hug before we part ?"

"Sure." She said, coming forward and hugging him, he patted on her shoulders, while she placed a kiss on his cheeks and whispered "Bye.."

He watched her walk away.

"Your passport please." asked a stranger, smiling at her. She handed it to him. He had a glance and returned it back to her and moved aside. She entered a room and the door shut behind her. There was a board next to the stranger, which read "Reincarnation Chamber".

The End.
