Note:- The story idea is adapted.

Jack was seated in the doctor's office, getting a medical test which involved wiring the patient to a machine.

He was tall and handsome. Though he was in his late forties, he looked much younger than his age. The doctor’s office was in the prison and this is part of the release procedure. The patient had just been acquitted, and the prison wanted to make sure he is healthy before they turned him lose.

“It won’t take much time. So please relax yourself.” The doctor said looking at him.

For which Jack only smiled at him. There was something about his smile which made the doctor nervous and uneasy.

The doctor started sweating while he pressed a button of that machine. There is an instant of surprise in the Jack's face.

“Are you alright?” asked the prison in charge.

“Yes…it was his smile.” The doctor said wiping the sweat on his face with his handkerchief.

“Thank God, it’s finally over.” He said.

“Yes, now, the hell is no longer safe.” The doctor said looking at the limp body of Jack.

The End
